OUR HISTORY

JGT Industrial Resources (JGT) began in 1985 as Link Trade Philippines, Inc., the company formed specifically to provide services to VOLVO BM Construction Equipment operators in the Philippines. Link Trade was managed and partly-owned by Mr. Paul Tinio, carrying with him his expertise in VOLVO from the former Distributor of VOLVO BM Construction Equipment in the Philippines, where he has undergone extensive trainings and accumulated vast experiences on spare parts and services for various types of VOLVO Equipment. At this prime period of the mining industry, Link Trade began to grow, providing value-for-money parts and services to all VOLVO operators in the country.

Over the years, Mr. Tinio continued to source for additional suppliers of VOLVO Genuine and OEM Parts. A major breakthrough came with the discovery of SLP, an OEM supplier of VOLVO Sweden. In 2010, Mr. Tinio was appointed by Swedish Lorry Parts AB as its Authorized and Sole Distributor in the Philippines, leading to the registration of JGT Industrial Resources.
